NextPath / 途知 Privacy Policy

This policy covers the NextPath iOS and Android apps for driving and citizenship preparation and English–Chinese immigration and visa reading relating to New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Available examinations, jurisdictions and content vary by project. NextPath, previously Roadwise, is a free, independent app: no account or sign-in is required, and it contains no advertising, analytics SDK or in-app purchase.

Answers, mistakes, question and article bookmarks, practice and test results, oral-practice self-assessments, reading progress, saved vocabulary and notes, examination settings and preferences are saved in the app's storage on your device. Downloaded question packages, study materials, images, videos and bilingual articles are also saved for offline use. NextPath does not upload these learning records to AnyMK or its content preparation and translation services, and it does not provide an account-based cloud sync service.

The app downloads public content over HTTPS from the publisher's public endpoints at anymk.app and retains verified offline content when an update fails. Requests do not include your answers, results, bookmarks, notes or reading-progress records. The app does not need access to the publisher's private Docker, n8n or local-network services. Public-source acquisition and translation take place separately in the publisher's workflow. To deliver files, hosting providers may process ordinary connection information such as an IP address, the requested file, request time and standard HTTP information; a file request can indicate which public content was requested.

NextPath uses the device's speech synthesis, not a NextPath cloud text-to-speech API. iOS English read-aloud uses Apple's system speech synthesizer and available system voices. Android selects voices that the installed system speech engine reports as installed and not requiring network synthesis; if an offline voice is unavailable, the app asks you to install one and does not switch to cloud synthesis. NextPath does not send read-aloud text to its own servers or record your voice. System voice downloads and the operation of Apple or third-party speech engines are governed by their providers and device settings. Chinese translations are prepared from public source content before publication; the app does not send your notes or reading selections to an online translation API.

New Zealand road test practice uses your device's location only while a practice drive you started is running, to speak the next instruction and tell you if you leave the route. Location is requested “While Using the App”, continues with the screen locked during that drive, stays on your device and stops when the drive ends. A practice drive's track can be exported only by you.

If you choose “Record my test” and then upload, NextPath sends the recorded track (location points with times, speed and accuracy), the test centre, test type, test date and, if you enter them, the result and a short note to anymk.app, together with the app version and a random identifier created on install that is used only to limit repeated uploads. No name, account, contact details or voice are sent. The upload is reviewed and, if suitable, turned into a practice route for that test centre; published routes contain the road line and instructions only, not your times, result or note. Uploads are kept while they are used for review and routes; to have an upload removed, email privacy@anymk.app with the test centre and date.

On iOS, local app data can be included in Apple-managed iCloud or computer backups according to your settings; NextPath does not separately upload a backup to its own service. Android sets android:allowBackup="false" to opt out of standard app backup. Device-to-device transfer can still depend on the Android version and device manufacturer. You can remove an iOS app's local records with Delete App, rather than Offload App; on Android, clear app storage or uninstall. Manage existing system backups and transfer copies separately, because deleting the app does not erase those copies. See Apple's backup guide and Android's backup documentation.

Projects and articles identify their actual official or publicly collected practice sources. Examples include NZTA, Immigration New Zealand, NSW Government, Australian Home Affairs, Ontario, IRCC, GOV.UK, Safe Driving for Life, California DMV, USCIS, and credited third-party practice collections such as NZDriver and Life in the UK Test Web. Opening a source or support link sends you to that website, whose own privacy and cookie policies apply. App-store downloads, system backups and speech engines are separate services; their providers' policies also apply.

NZDriver、Life in the UK Test Web

NextPath does not require camera, contacts, microphone or notification permission. Location is used only for road test practice and recording as described above. Network access is used for public content updates and for route uploads you choose to send; speech synthesis does not require voice recording. We do not knowingly collect children's personal profile information.

For NextPath privacy questions, contact privacy@anymk.app or use AnyMK support. Information you choose to include in a support message is separate from local app records and is used to respond to your request. Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
